Carmelite Church – Mandalagan, Bacolod

The external structure of the Carmelite Church shows white walls, red roof, and blue highlights on the pillars and edges. The roof is triangular with a cross on top-front-center. Under the cross is a flower-like circular glass window with eight petals. Another cross under the circular window is on the wall above a semicircular window that is partially covered by a balcony. The main entrance, a brown semi-oblong door, is under the balcony. There are also several similar doors on the sides as well as semi-oblong glass windows on both sides of the balcony.

The sanctuary of Carmelite Church is mainly white and beige on walls and pillars, while the ceiling has a blue and white cloud-like pattern. The center of the wall behind the altar depicts Jesus in his risen form; both hands are raised and wearing white. The sanctuary is one step above the main floor, and behind the altar are three steps to where the priest's chair and the tabernacle are situated. The tabernacle is a metallic box on the wall below the risen Jesus. The altar is draped with a purple cloth and has chi-rho christogram on the front surface of its stand. A wooden lectern is also on the right of the sanctuary (left as seen from the nave) just outside the first elevated step.Statues of St. Teresa Of Lisieux and St. John of the Cross inside Carmelite Church.
