Antipolo Cathedral

The facade of Antipolo Cathedral is made of various shades of beige and brown. Its structure is rectangular, as seen from the front with a hemispherical dome on top. The front side has three main entrances, and above these doors are three glass windows with a shape of a house-like pentagon. White statues of saints are standing atop the rectangular structure as if they are surrounding the dome on their back. Two letter Ms intersecting at the right angle is on top of the dome, and a white cross on top of Ms.

The sanctuary of Antipolo Cathedral is dominated by a tall goldtone reredos that covers all of the front wall. It has eight goldtone pillars grouped from left to right (as seen from the nave) in one, three, three, and one. At its center, between the two groups of pillars (three pillars each group), is a pulpit-like balcony on which a statue of Mary as Queen of Heaven stands. Above Mary are goldtone rays radiating outward and abruptly stopping to form a pentagon, with the Holy Spirit in dove form at its center. On the left, between a single pillar and a group of three pillars, is a painting of crucified Jesus, and on the right between a group of three pillars and a single pillar is a depiction of resurrected Jesus holding a flag. There is a door under each painting, possibly leading to the sacristy. The lower parts of the sanctuary: the floor, the altar, and the tabernacle are mainly white. The tabernacle is a structure under Mary's pulpit that is possibly made of white stone with square metallic cover. Two goldtone statues of saints flank it; I cannot tell who they are, but they are probably apostles based on what they wear. The altar is draped with a white cloth. Also visible on the left is the lectern; it is white but with goldtone highlights and decorations. There is also another pedestal on the right made of a simple pillar and inclined platform, with the microphone separate from it.A stone marker with a mural showing the coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven found within the compound of Antipolo Cathedral. The marker is made of white stone that is almost rectangular except that its top is curved upward. Its base is made of gray marble. On the white stone is a mural showing Mary in blue and white, with two angels in red and green putting a crown on her head. This is the coat of arm of Bishop Emeritus Most Rev. Gabriel Villaruz Reyes, DD, as seen on the floor of Antipolo Cathedral. Two ropes, with each ending on six tassels, emanate from under a dark green bolero hat. Under the hat and between the tassels is a shield with different images on it. On the right half of the shield are two fig leaves, and under them is a circle showing Mary as Queen of Heaven wearing gray and yellow, holding a brown rod, and flanked by Sun and Moon. On the right is a depiction of Sto. Nino (statue of child Jesus in king-like attire) wearing yellow clothes and orange cape. On the right of the Sto. Nino is a gray tower that looks like the queen or king chess piece. Under the Sto. Nino and the tower is the only section of the shield in yellow background. On the yellow section are gray dove depiction of the Holy Spirit and what looks like two gray hammers and a gray anvil. On the back of the shield is a cross; its main cross part is above the shield but its base extends up to below the shield. Below the shield and in front of the base of the cross is a dark green ribbon with words ORA ET LABORA.A tall stained glass pane depicts the Fourth Joyful Mystery of the Rosary, the Presentation of Jesus at the Temple. Mary is wearing blue and red clothing and white headcover. Joseph is wearing green and goldtone clothing. Mary is carrying baby Jesus wrapped in white cloth and looks like she is passing him to a man with red clothing and headdress, possibly a Jewish priest. There is also a woman on the right beside the priest wearing green and pink. Another man with white headdress and yellow clothing stands behind the woman. They are on the steps of what looks like a temple, with two pillars, a window, and a red curtain visible in the background.A statue of Jesus showing his Sacred Heart. He is wearing a white garment and red cloak. His left palm is hovering above his Sacred Heart while his right hand is raised as if giving blessings. The statue stands on a maroon marble platform elevated from the ground by four pillars with darker shades of maroon.
